Mood Indigo 2009 proudly brings to you record holding pixel artist Manu Kallikad. A genius in his own right, he accomplishes the task of making portraits of legendary figures from different walks of life, all without a single stroke of a brush.Yes, no paint or brushes involved. Manu uses newspaper articles, and rare photographs of a legend to engineer an intriguing portrait. Mahatma Gandhi, Karl Marx, Mother Teresa, M.F.Hussain, Lady Diana, Sachin Tendulkar, A.R. Rahman are among some of the people who have been immortalised - in an altogether new form.
This unique art form is incredibly fascinating and cannot be missed at this year's Mood Indigo. Manu Kallikad is bringing with him 8 of his works which will be on display Visitors can learn about pixel art from such exposure.
